The 8 week Mindfulness for Life training (also known as MBCT-L/MBSR) is a well established and scientifically proven program.

It can support you to:

- Reduce stress

- Navigate differently through challenging and difficult times

- Be less occupied by thinking and the mind

- Find the ability to deal with daily stress in different ways

- Discover kindness and compassion for yourself and others

- Learn to meditate and/or find a regular meditation practice

- Be more flexible and recover more quickly when going through (interpersonal) difficulties

- Feel more calm, present and alive

- Learn more about yourself and your inner world

- Find gratefulness and joy in every day moments

The training consists out of:

  • 8 live sessions of 2,5 hours
  • Awareness exercises
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Theory & Inquiry
  • Cognitive exercises
  • +/- 30 min. daily home exercises
  • 100+ page printed training manual
  • recorded audio exercises

Elisabeth Tiesinga (Liz) is a certified mindfulness trainer since 2012. She has been offering the 8 week Mindfulness program in the SW Algarve for over 8 years. Besides giving trainings in mindfulness she works as a mindful (online) coach, grief companion and birth doula. Her participants describe her as authentic, caring, empathic, a great listener and skilled trainer.
